To call international numbers from Skype you will need
to buy a little Skype Credit
or a subscription.
To dial an international number:
- In the sidebar, click Call Phones.
- The dial pad opens. Skype automatically displays your current country and the relevant calling rates.
- Click the flag above the dial pad, then select the country you need to make a call to from the drop down menu.
- Enter the number you need to call.
- Click the green call button

To dial a country calling code, e.g. +44, click and hold the 0 + button for two seconds. The + symbol appears in the Enter number box. You don't need to do this if you have selected a country from the flag menu.
