Profile picture

You can add
or change your profile picture.
You can show your profile picture to anyone on Skype or your contacts only. In the menu bar, go to Skype > Preferences… > Privacy. In the Show my picture to drop-down, select Anyone or Contacts.

Show my timezone
|
You can tick this to show your timezone to friends on your contact list. Note, you will need to select a country to set a timezone.

|
You can tick this to show the number of contacts you have to people on your contact list.

Email address
|
You can add a maximum of 3 email addresses. Your friends can use your email address to search for you on Skype.

Private.
|

Name
|
Double-click your name to edit it, and then press Return on your keyboard to save the changes. This changes how your name appears on your friends’ contact list.

Mood
|
Click Add Mood Message or existing mood message to edit it, and then press Enter on your keyboard to save your mood.

Mobile, Home, Office
|
Click the Add Number link or Edit button to type in a number. This enables your contacts to call your phone and mobile from Skype.

|
Click Add Description or existing information to edit it, and then press Return on your keyboard to save the changes.

|
Select a country from the drop-down box to set your timezone.

Click Add Webpage or existing details to edit it, and then press Return on your keyboard to save the changes.

Click the drop-down box and select Male, Female or Not Specified.

Type your birthdate into the field or use the drop-down option. This alerts your contacts so they can wish you happy birthday!
