How do I get an Online Number?

How much does an Online Number cost and how long will I have it for?
You can choose how long you’d like your Online Number for
when you buy it – if you would like your Online Number for
3 months it will cost you RMB150元, or RMB500 for a full
year.
How do I set up an Online Number for another country?
You can choose which country you would like your Online Number to be for when you first start the purchasing process by clicking on a flag.
Some countries will require that you provide proof of residence before you can get an Online Number for that country. So unless you have a valid address there, you won’t be able to get a number for that country. These countries include:
- France
- Germany
- The Netherlands
- Switzerland
- South Korea
How long does it take to activate an Online Number?
Online Numbers from most countries should activate automatically as soon as your payment is processed.
However, if you were required to provide proof of residence before you bought your Online Number, you’ll need to wait for this information to be verified before the Online Number is activated. This usually takes up to two working days.
Can I use my home or another existing number as my Online Number?
Unfortunately not; when you purchase an Online Number, you will need to choose one from a pre-selected range provided with us. However, you can choose your favourite number from that range. You can search for your preferred number using the Enter your favourite combination search box, or by clicking on Show ten new suggestions to scroll through the available options.
Please note: When you buy a German Online Number you will be allocated one by our partners in Germany. Unfortunately, you will not be able to select a preferred number.
How many Online Numbers can I set up?
You can have up to 10 Online Numbers attached to your account – the perfect option if you frequently receive calls from more than one location. You can choose where you want to buy each Online Number for, so you can have a number local to each location or country you regularly expect calls from.
