A voicemail alert is a notification that someone has left you a voicemail on Skype. There are three types of alert:
    - Email alert – we send you an email when someone leaves you a voicemail on Skype. This is free.
- SMS alert – you receive a text when someone leaves
you a voicemail on Skype. You can then listen to the message
by calling your Skype To Go number. You are charged a
                        standard rate for the
                        text.
- SpinVox voicemail to text – your voicemail
messages are converted to text for a small fee with SpinVox.
The voicemail text is then sent via text message to your
                        mobile.
To sign up for voicemail alerts, sign in to your account and go to the Voicemail tab. You can enable/disable alerts under Voicemail alert options. If you don’t already have voicemail set up, you will be asked to sign up first.
Note: After a new voicemail has been recorded, we wait 10 minutes before notifying you. You can check for and listen to voicemail messages at any time - you don't have to wait for an alert. If someone has left you a voicemail, you'll see it on the Recent tab in Skype.
